MAPP Cultural Diversity Benchmarking User group sessions

MAPP Cultural Diversity Benchmarking user group Session 1

17.03.2026

MAPP Multicultural Benchmarking Initiative Stage 2 brought 25+ senior decision-makers and DEI partners from across the Built Environment together at Lendlease for a dedicated benchmarking workshop. It was a purpose-led session focused on where the industry stands today and how we move forward together.

MAPP introduced the pilot survey results from October 2025 and a preliminary, research-backed scorecard to help organisations locate their current position and map practical pathways for multicultural inclusion. Participant feedback is helping us sharpen definitions and guidance so benchmarking becomes a shared language for action.

What’s next:
- Facilitated sessions to unpack the scorecard
- Practical resources and guidance
- Session 2 in May!

Thank you to the organisations and individuals who invested their time and are committed to driving real change. Benchmarking, for us, is not only measurement... it's momentum!.

MAPP Cultural Diversity Benchmarking user group Session 2

20.05.2026

Following Session 1 - MAPP's Benchmarking Initiative Focus Group Session 2 was held at Lendlease on May 20th.

We had a gallery walk exercise which reinforced that DEI should be embedded as core business practice, with clear leadership accountability, incentives for change, and representation at board and strategy levels.

Encouragingly, many attendees have already taken action since Session 1 by using the scorecard, sparking leadership conversations, sharing tools internally, and driving reflection across their organisations.

The message is clear... meaningful change happens when leaders are equipped, accountable, and committed to action.

A huge thank you to our sponsors: Resonate Consultants, Ratio Consultants, Square 1 Engineering, Lendlease & Foundation Partners: IZZA Group, Slattery, Development Victoria

An appreciation to Zamaneh Khoshdel and Aaron Chen for leading this initiative with vision and dedication. Equally, a big thank you to our benchmarking team: Jinal Gandhi, Hua Feng and Pragya Gupta. Most importantly, thank you to all companies and participants! Your input is at the heart of this project and is helping to drive real change in our industry.
